“Leave no one behind” 22 May 2015: The HelpAge Action All Ages Day

T E el diario de la Tercera Edad joins HelpAge International on 22 May 2015 for Action All Ages Day

Our goals: call on governments to commit to end poverty, address inequality and ensure sustainable development

Action/2015 is a worldwide coalition united by the idea that 2015 presents a real opportunity to change our future.

Action/2015 members are organising thematic global days of action to mobilise 15 million people across the world. The aim is to influence world leaders in this crucial year for development decisions.

The HelpAge Action All Ages Day will call for people of all ages to be included in the post-2015 framework, so that it truly meets its objective to “leave no one behind”.

As a part of Action All Ages, Archbishop Desmond Tutu has recorded a message for us which will go live this Friday, 22 May.

What is action/2015?

Action/2015 is a worldwide coalition united by the idea that 2015 presents a real opportunity to change our future.

The HelpAge global network, our partners, Affiliates and older activists have joined the coalition to call on governments to commit to end poverty, address inequality and ensure sustainable development.

Our HelpAge-specific call builds on our post-2015 work to ensure the new Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are inclusive of all people of all ages.

Join Archbishop Desmond Tutu!
